AILET ADMISSION ANNOUNCEMENT : 2019-2020

AILET (All India Law Entrance Test) is a university-Level Law Entrance exam conducted by National Law University, Delhi for admission to B.A. LL.B (Hons.), LL.M and Ph.D. Programmes Every Year. This year, AILET 2019 is scheduled for May 05, 2019.

All India Law Enterence Exam is law level university exam . That exam conducted by National Law University in Delhi . This exam conduct for admission BA LLB(Honos.)LL.M and Ph.D. programs.

Last Date For Submission of Application Form is April 8, 2019 and the Tentative date of Examination is MAY 5, 2019.

Eligibility Criteria for filling the Application Form:

For B.A.LL.B. (Hons.)- Five-Year Programme Senior Secondary School Examination (10+2 System) or Equivalent Examination with 50% marks. The candidates appearing in 12th standard examination in March/April and 2019 candidates are also apply. Total Seats: 80 [70 Seats on merit through All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) and 10 Seats for direct admission to Foreign Nationals on merit  (5  seats for Foreign  Nationals  & 5 seats for OCI/PIO)].   Foreign Nationals are exempted from AILET. Foreign Nationals to be eligible should have obtained 65% marks in the qualifying examination. Reservation: 15% for SC candidates, 7.5% for ST candidates and 5% for Persons with Disabilities.

Note: One additional supernumerary seat for kashmiri migrants. Two additional supernumerary seats for Residents of Jammu & Kashmir.

For LL.M.-One-Year Programme

Eligibility:  LL.B.  or  an  Equivalent  Law  Degree  with  55%  marks  (50%  in  case  of  SC/ST/  Persons  with  Disabilities).  The candidates appearing in final year LL.B. Examination in April/May, 2019 can also apply. Total Seats: 80 [70 Seats on merit through All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) and 10 Seats for direct admission to Foreign. Nationals on merit (5 seats for Foreign Nationals & 5 seats for OCI/PIO)].  Foreign Nationals are exempted from AILET (No. of seats may vary).

Interested  candidates  Shall apply  only  online  on  payment  of  Rs.3,050/-  (Rupees  Three  Thousand  Fifty  Only)  for  General Candidates, Rs.1,050/- (Rupees One thousand Fifty only) in case of SC/ST  and Persons with Disabilities (PD) along with copy of requisite Caste/Persons with Disabilities Certificate. AILET 2019 Exam Pattern:

The AILET has 150 Multiple Choice Questions for 150 marks that must be attempted within 1 hour 30 minutes. The AILET has sections on English, General Knowledge, Basic Mathematics, Logical Reasoning and Legal Aptitude.

Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2019 will be conducted by National Law University (NLU) - Odisha, Cuttack. Following previous years trend CLAT 2019 is expected to be held on May 12, through a offline mode.

If you are a law aspirant and seeking admission in LLB and LLM Programme in any of the 19 NLUs and other institutions across the country can apply in January 2019. The application fee is ₹ 4000 (With exemption based on cast and gender).

CLAT LLM 2019 ELIGIBILITY -

  • A bachelor’s degree in law
  • The low degree can be a five-year integrated or three-year law degree from any Bar Council of India approved the institution
  • Clear your qualification with 55%
(Candidate from reserved category will get 5% relaxation in the minimum percentage criteria)
  • There is no Age limit to appear for the CLAT exam

CLAT LLM 2019 SYLLABUS -

Questions on the subject of Constitutional Law and Jurisprudence will contain 50 marks each. Apart from that the rest of the paper may contain questions related to different topics such as, International Law, Criminal Law etc. Constitution Law - There are various aspects of this subject, and candidates will be primarily asked to answer the question they studied in graduation. Such as the rules, doctrine, practices that govern the functioning of modern state and other political institutions. Jurisprudence - Similarly here also candidates will be asked to answer the graduate level question. This subject is classified into three branches - theoretical, analytical and sociological. The Tort Law - This aspect of law covers cases related to harm resulting in legal liability for the person responsible for the tortuous activity. Contract - This covers the area of law related legal documentation, mutual agreement either with connect or enforced by the law. Criminal Law/Penal Law - Laws and regulations covering the Social code of conduct, the antisocial activity which may possess a threat to harmony, safety, health and moral welfare of the citizens. International Law - Section of law that covers International legal guidelines, contracts that govern the relationship between states.

Common Law Admission Test or CLAT, 2019 will be conducted for the admission year 2019-2020 by the National Law University Odisha, Cuttack (NLOU). The date for the exam is May 12, 2019, and it’ll be an offline exam. CLAT 2019 is a national-level entrance test to secure admission in undergraduate law courses including BSC LLB, BA LLB, BCom LLB, and BBA LLB. This year NLU Odisha is administrating the CLAT exams and these exams will offer admission to the students into 21 most prestigious NLU’s across India, such as Himachal Pradesh National Law University, Shimla (HPNLU) and Dharmashastra National Law University, Jabalpur (MPDNLU).

CLAT 2019 ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA -

If you are a law aspirant and planning to appear for CLAT 2019 then here are the eligibility criteria you need to have. You must be 10+2 passed student from a government recognized institution. Apart from this if you belong to the general category then you need to score a minimum of 45 percent marks in your qualifying degree. And candidates from ST & SC categories are required to score a minimum of 40 percent marks in the subjects aggregate. There is no minimum age bar to appear in CLAT 2019.  

CLAT 2019 APPLICATION PROCESS -

 You can fill out the CLAT 2019 application online and pay for the application fee via Net Banking, Debit Card and Credit Card. CLAT Application fee - ₹ 4000 Application form for CLAT 2019 will be announced by National Law University Odisha, Cuttack probably on January 1, 2019. The forms will be open online, to apply and if you want to apply, you can do so by tentatively between January 1 and March 31, 2019, on the committee's official website.   To proceed with the application, you have to register yourself first and after successful registration, you’ll receive an ID & password which will be helpful to you to keep yourself updated throughout the process of the examination, such as, checking the result, your status, and important dates. Upon registering a candidate can proceed to fill out the detail of the application form and pay the fee of the application.   Here kee a note while filling out the necessary details of the exam that you don’t miss anything and doesn't provide any false information otherwise it’ll affect your application and in the worst case, your application can get a rejection also. It is advisable that you should follow the official website of CLAT to keep yourself updated with all the latest developments.

EXAM PATTERN FOR CLAT 2019 -

CLAT 2019 exam will be held online where you’ll have 2 hours to attempt the questions. Maximum number question is around 200 and they will be multiple choice in nature. For each correct answer, you’ll get 1 mark and 0.25 marks will be deducted from you if you answer wrongly. And the question will come in the English language. Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is a centralized test for admission to 19 National Law Universities in India. 43 other education institutes and two public sector institutes are also eligible to use these scores. The test is conducted by the 19 participating law schools in rotation, in the order of their establishment, starting with National Law School of India University which conducted CLAT-2008, and up to National University of Advanced Legal Studies which conducted CLAT 2019.
