I am pursuing B.Com from National PG College, Lucknow. I am very simple, honest and hard working in Nature, I believe in hard working. My long term goal is to become a Qualified Company Secretary Professional. What resources did you use to study (both books and online)? I used to study with ICSI Study materials as well as online like practice of mock tests to improve accuracy and time management. Moreover, I would like to tell you that for online mock tests mybookswala.in is best platform for preparation of CS/CA/CMA examination apart from other competitive examinations. What was your Study Strategy while preparing the examination?  My strategy of studying was very simple but it was goals deriven. One thing I would like to share that we have to balance the practical and the theory in one day or else you might get bored. You can do one chapter of accounts and then do three chapters of theory.”  Also, she says “Never mug up – especially laws, because if you cannot apply the laws to case studies, then it is of no use (view box below). Last, don’t get scared of the size of the books”. Offline study or Online, what you had preferred? I think both ways are prolific provided you are giving your 100% while studying and “avoid Social Media.” it is the greatest distraction and advises aspirant not  to use it. Any advice for fellow aspirants? If you fail, don’t get bogged down, keep trying for it. Success will come to your door! It was actually challenged for me because I was science background student( till Intermediate)  but all possible just because of expert guidance of Mybookswala’s faculties and of course my own efforts and strong determination towards goals. I thank  all of you being part of my success. How important do you think the mock tests were? As per my experience Mock test play important role to the larger extent and they give us a very accurate idea of these exams and helps you in making strategies for the time management during the examination. Thank you very much Mr. Ravi Kant shukla for sharing your success story with us hope the aspirant get inspiration from these stories. And wish you all the very best for brighter future.

What was your reaction to the new pattern? Was there any separate strategy you adopted for Preliminary and Mains? I was quite worried about the new pattern. I thought it would be difficult to clear it this time. But I would say this new pattern equips you to face any competitive exam and enhances your aptitude skills. 2 weeks before Prelims, I focused only on Aptitude, Reasoning, and English and never wasted my time in learning General Awareness and Computer during those weeks. Because, when you give your best in Prelims it gives you much confidence to face Mains. So, it’s important we give the right focus on both the levels of exam. Right after my Prelims exams I started focusing on General Awareness and Computer as I had already prepared for the other 3 sections for my Prelims itself. What was your time management strategy during the exam? Which section do you think one should attempt first? It is very tough for every aspirant to manage time during the examination. My strategy towards time management was practices whatever I had during preparation with both offline and online mock tests. In my view point English, Reasoning and Numerical section is the order of Attempt if one wants to attempt all the questions within the prescribed time frame. Offline Study or Online, what do you prefer? I think both are fine on their own but if you ask me I would choose online over the offline study. Because, while preparing online you can get an accurate assessment of your methods and answers instantly. Studying offline doesn’t have that benefit and over online you can find various mock tests related to the subject easily. Any advice for fellow aspirant? One thing I would like to advice to my fellow aspirants that there is no short cut to success you should work hard and do practice and practice towards predetermined goals under the guidance of expert then you will succeed. Why did you choose this career? As I have already told you that working in PCS-J Sector is my short term goal of my career that will help in achieving my long term goal. How important do you think the mock test is for the competitive exam? As per my experience Mock test play important role to the larger extent and they give you a very accurate idea of these exams and helps you in making strategies for the time management during the examination.

I used to solve test papers quite regularly. Q. IV)   What was your time management strategy during the exam? Which section do you think one should attempt first? A.   Managing time is one of the hardest parts of the preparation and I remember I used to practice with both offline and online mock tests. I divided equal time for both and in the morning I use to attempt offline test question and during the night I practiced with the online materials. As these exams are very tight and you can’t waste a single second. So, from very early on I started solving questions with a set timer and that helped me a lot. Mainly in the subjects with numerical problems. Practice and time management are the key things to crack the exam and I followed it. Q. V)   Offline study or Online, what do you prefer?
