SI in Delhi Police CAPFs And Assistant SI in CISF Examination 2018-19

To recruit staffs for various posts across the Ministries and Departments of the Government of India and in Subordinate Offices, the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) conducted multiple exams each year.

Similarly., SSC is conducting examination for the requirement of Sub-inspector (SI) in Delhi Police, Central Armed Forces (CAFs) and Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) in CISF for the year 2018-19.

Available Vacancies For SI in Delhi Police CAPFs And Assistant SI in CISF

For SI Male in Delhi Police, there are 86 open posts and 11 posts are reserved for ex-servicemen.

For SI Female in Delhi Police, there are 53 posts available.

For SI (GD) in CAPF there are 1073 open posts are available and 107 are reserved for ex-servicemen.

 

Total number of vacancies regarding the ASI (Executive) in CISF are yet to be announce officially.

 

Eligibility –

  • Educational Qualification

               Candidate have to have a graduation degree from an government recognized university

 

  • Age Limit

Candidate must be between the age of 20-15 years

(Relaxation in age is available for the SC/ST [5 years], OBC [3 years] and Ex)

 

  • Physical Qualification

Application submission starts 03 March 2018
End of application submission 13 April 2018
Date of exam 12 March 2019 – 16 March 2019

 

EXAM PATTERN –

 

The SSC SI and ASI Exam 2018-19 is divided into – Paper I, Paper II, Physical Endurance Test (PET)/ Physical Standard Test (PST) and Detailed Medical Examination (DET).

 

Paper I – Candidates will have 2 hours to solve question, each question have 1 mark each.

 

Part I General Intelligence and Reasoning 50 marks
Part II General Knowledge and General Awareness 50 marks
Part III Quantitative Aptitude 50 marks
Part IV English Comprehension 50 marks

 

Paper II – Here also candidates will get 2 hours to solve the paper for total 200 marks (200 questions).

 

(There will also be negative marking of 0.25 markss for both Paper I &II)

 

A candidate will be called for Paper II and DET if and only if they qualify PER/PST.

PET/PST –

  • For male candidate

1.6 kms race in 6.5 minutes

100 m rae in 16 seconds

High Jump of 1.2 m in maximum 3 cahnces

Long Jump of 3.65 m in maximum 3 chances

Shot put (16 Lbs) to 4.5 m in maximum 3 chances

 

  • For Female candidate

800 m race in 4 minutes

100 m race in 18 seconds

High Jump 0.9 m in maximum 3 chances

Long Jump 2.7 m in maximum 3 chances

 

SYLLABUS For SI in Delhi Police CAPFs And Assistant SI in CISF Examination 2018-19 

 

FOR PAPER I –

 

  • Part I (General Intelligence and Reasoning)

This section may conatin question on  discrimination, observation, relationship concepts, visual memory, arithmetical reasoning and figural classification, analogies, similarities and differences, space visualization, Figural Series, Problem Solving, Word Building, spatial orientation, problem solving, analysis, judgment, decision making, Coding & de-coding, arithmetic number series, non-verbal series, coding and decoding, statement conclusion, syllogistic reasoning etc. Semantic Analogy, Symbolic/ Number ‘ Analogy, Figural Analogy, Semantic Classification, Symbolic/ Number Classification, Space Visualization, Venn Diagrams, Drawing inferences, Punched hole/ pattern-folding & un-folding,  Figural Classification, Semantic Series, Number Series, Embedded Figures, Critical thinking, Emotional Intelligence, Social Intelligence, Trends, Space Orientation, Figural Pattern- folding and completion, Numerical Operations, symbolic Operations, Indexing Address matching, Date & city matching Classification of center codes/ roll numbers, Small & Capital letters/ numbers coding, decoding and classification, and others.

  • Part II (General Knowledge and General Awareness)

The questions in this paper will test the candidates knowledge about his surrounding and depth of their general knowledge. So, you can prepare by studying the current, political, economic specially based on or related to India, it’s history, geography, politics etc,

  • Part III (Qualitative Aptitude)

This paper will be designed to test the number sense and use of numbers by the candidates. Questions might come from the areas of computation, fractions, ration, roots, basic algebra, geometry and other sub-topics.

 

  • Part IV (English Comprehension)

It’ll test the candidates command over the English language. Questions will test their writing, comprehension ability and basic knowledge of the language.

 

FOR PAPER II –

  • English Language & Comprehension

This set of question will test the candidates ability to understand and comprehend the knowledge of English language. Questions may come in the form of fill in the blanks, error recognition, Spelling, Grammar, Idioms, Synonyms, Antonyms etc.

As every year thousands of candidates apply for just a few hundred available posts of SI in Delhi Police CAPFs And Assistant SI in CISF it becomes very difficult to get through the exam and secure the job. But nothing is impossible with right planning and preparation.
